Assembled within the Brotherhood of the MBOG-PARLIAMENT, the initiates of the MBOG, whose framework is made up of a Council of Notables under the leadership of Patriarch Mbombog MBOUCK Guillaume, the Brotherhood has taken upon itself the initiative of divulging and promoting the beliefs and ancestral values of the Bassa people. The urgency stems from the need to defend the spirituality of the peoples of the forest who live around the holy shrine of the mythical cave of NGOG LITUBA in Cameroon.
Increasing pressure from deforestation, which sounds the knell of native peoples' spirituality, lies at the heart of this initiative which aims to call out to the conscience of humanity and to the assemblies of the leaders of Cameroon and the world.
For a long time, the Bassa people have been marginalised, because they were misunderstood. They fought during the years of colonisation to safeguard their environment and to conserve their holy places.
Mbog is an African way of life which prepares its members for life in symbiosis with Nature, with which it is connected. Complete in itself, it touches all aspects of society.
